Install Problem - Admin Page won't load. - In-Portal Web 2.0 Content Management System (CMS)

Install goes fine.
I then continue to login to the admin panel.. it only loads the lines of the page and title.. then just sits there and "spins" in firefox. Never loads the page..

whats up!? I have wasted so much time with this..
any ideas.. why install would go fine, but it wont load the admin panel?

this is my server:
cpsrvd 11.28.64
MySQL client version: 5.1.47
PHP extension: mysql
using in-portal_5_1_2

Thanks any input would be great..
Also instructions say the config.php file should be in the root?
I only see it in the core directory?
Whats up with that?

Sorry for confusion with location of config.php file and tanks for brining this up. It has been moved to system/ folder starting In-Portal 5.1.0. I have updated the Installation Instructions page already.

Please send your PHPINFO to admin@in-portal.org as Alex has requested so we can take a quick look and try helping you.

I've got exactly the same problem as helmhound's... admin back-end page won't load nor does the front-end page. Firefox just keeps spinning forever.

Any helps?
