While translating the script I noticed these phrases :
Directory (TD)
News (TD)
Forums (TD)

What does the shortcut that is indicated by the letters T & D mean?

These are not phases of any kind, but rather name of module root categories from "Structure & Data" section.

Then " (TD)" (meaning "test data") was add because even though you've selected "advanced" theme to be installed you still enabled "install demo data" checkbox.

There is no demo data for "advanced" theme, but as a proof of concept we've create an SQL file to patch existing installation by adding " (TD)".
