I've gotten pretty far with the install, but am at the installation maintenance portion and it is asking for user name and password. I've thought of every combination, but can't figure this out. Is this something that In-Portal gives me?

Hello there,

First of all thanks for downloading In-Portal and giving it a try!

About your issues. Can you give me the installation step number you are at?

What was the last step you saw before you got to the maintenance screen?

Thanks!

The prior screen was where I put in localhost, the database name, password, etc.

Do you have an older version of In-Portal installed there or it's a new install of 5.0.2?

I was able to get it to work. i just highlighted the url and hit return. It reset me to the previous page and then I never saw the page that gave me trouble again. Yeah!

Now I need to figure out how to tweak this so it looks like my own site. Is there some sort of manual or tips?

Great!

You should join In-Portal Development team since got to the bottom of this on your own. In-Portal Community definitely can use active people like you!

Anyway back to your question and website now. A few questions to get us on track with this:

1. Do you have some knowledge of HTML or PHP if so how extensive? It's not problem if not since In-Portal will still let you setup and run your website.

2. Do you have your design ready or anything in mind how it should look and what kind of information will be on the website?

Cheers!
