Publish articles on the homepage - In-Portal Web 2.0 Content Management System (CMS)

Hello Community,
I'm still new in terms of in-portal and would like to publish on the home page article. But how can I make it happen. I created an item in the backend of IN-Portal, but he does not appear on the home page.

About a little help I am very pleased.

Here is how to create the article:

1. go to "Home > News" category and press the "New Article" toolbar button on "Articles" tab: http://screencast.com/t/uTxnePgu
2. create active article: http://screencast.com/t/z40kaQTdFW0w
3. on Front-End go to News category and see article is added: http://screencast.com/t/lZURmsNGU8BG

If however you want an article to be shown right on homepage (on / url), then such article needs to marked as "Site Lead Story" (a checkbox on article editing page) and then it would look like this:

Hello Alex,
many thanks for your effort! It worked, but my problem is still following. I can not click this item to read it. It is only the article teaser on the home page. Do I need to adjust something in the system. I've seen everything through, but find nothing in return.

I found it :) This was complicated for me, but well, now I know how to do that and I hope pretending nothing in the system.
